Roy Hempley, one of the Bachology authors, is searching for instruments that demonstrate aspects of Vincent Bach's designs. If you think you have instrument that might help for sale, loan or discussion, please contact him. He is particularly interested in the following instrument(s).
New York Bach Stradivarius cornet: serial number 28.
New York Bach Stradivarius trumpet: serial number 303.
Roy has access to Vincent Bach's shop cards and other technical material. He will consult with owners of vintage Bach instruments free of charge, but he does not normally provide copies of material he uses, including shop cards. Owners may be asked to provide photographs and, upon occasion, loan instruments for examination. If an owner agrees to loan an instrument, Roy provides the owner with technical notes on the instrument including photographs taken. Occasionally, a loaned instrument may be featured in an article. The names of owners who wish to remain anonymous are not divulged. (See Articles 5 and 6)
