Build A Bach

David Norman

Artist's Biography
Dave is one rare breed of cat! His incredible versatility has finally found its way into a studio/recording artist setting. As a unique, brass playing chameleon, Dave can adapt to any style or genre and emulate any trumpet player that ever lived.

His dedicated formal and early classical studies allow him to cover a wide range of technical possibilities on the horn. Add to this an extremely gifted upper register and you have even more infinite possibilities. The fun doesnt stop here.he has also studied, quite extensively, almost every era of jazz and big band music, as well as their predominant innovators and pioneers. And although his favored roots lie within the rock realm, not to mention his love for R&B and funk, hes spent many hours honing the fine art of \"swing\" phrasing.

Regarding \"The Tribute Album\", Dave soars on the horn like no other. It is literally a brilliant brass bonanza, as he pays homage to 3 illustrious pop-instrumental icons of this jubilant instrument: Maynard Ferguson, Doc Severinsen and Herb Alpert.

Dave truly is a world class virtuoso, spanning the horizons of stylistic colors and musical genres. There\'s not a person alive that wouldnt enjoy the amazing sounds emanating from his glorious horn. You will too!!
